Our Name: MMS is 3 initials. M&MS was taken, MM&S didn't have the same ring, so we went for MMS. At the counter at the county seat, the lady said that if you want to use the initials of three names you have to formally be three partners in the business. After some research, we decided that that wasn't happening. When I returned I felt like I had a plan, but ran into the same resistance. So the lady at the counter just said use a name like Many Moons ... something. I think "That's Good". The first M is the 3rd in a long line of Ms, so that's Many. The second M was born on a Blue Moon, so that's Moons. The S remained undecided. We convened and both Ms were happy, so it was up to S. S is a little bold and chose Solution without delay. Hence we are legally, Many Moons Solution or MMS. We also like it because it is totally consistent with our Mission to provide the long term or Many Moons Solution for this little planet, we call Earth.
Current Logo:
After noticing the way businesses with the word "moons" or "moon" in them play with the word, this totally original and completely superior idea came like a bolt of lightning. There are future plans to decorate the Many, but there is no hurry and we didn't want it to look too busy. A bigger hurry is to get the moon orbiting the earth, while the earth is spinning around while it's orbiting the sun. (Bids welcome.)
Original Logo:
For personal reasons, this was a good starting point.
Additionally, we were hooked on expressing that we had some kind of "vision" for the future.
The accompanying slogan was "We look ahead."
However, it looks a little creepy.
This contains our original globe personally drawn from a small globe that just today we see is actually a pencil sharpener also.
It may not be noticeable, but we dedicated one pixel to Long Island.
We strongly believe that at least one pixel should be dedicated to Long Island on all globes and we will challenge anyone who disagrees to a duel.
The duel shall be conducted in accordance with the Long Island rules of Thumb Wrestling.
